Our Mission

DisabledCommunity.Org (DCO) is a clearinghouse of disability resources and information designed to help improve the quality of life for people with disabilities, their friends, caregivers and social service agencies.

Our Services

We run an accessible, online website for people with disabilities to help find the information they need to learn more about their disability and to locate resources that will help.

We empower our community by sharing information both online, over the phone and through educational forums.

Starting in May 2009, we began to train people with disabilities to run the DisabledCommunity.Org Amazon bookstore. Please contact us if you would like to volunteer or donate books, envelopes, or tape to the program.

We also seek to end isolation by organizing events in the community that educate, entertain and allow for our sharing of talents. Please view our events section which discuss some of our events.
