Organizational Status

DCO is a California 501(c)(3) and is sponsored by the federally recognized non profit, Stuck in Bed, Inc. DCO has both a San Francisco Business Registration Certificate (382037) and a Federal Employer Identification Number (20-1830538). We filed in July 2009 for federal exemption with the help of a pro bono attorney from Perkins Coie.

Fundraising

DCO is a 100% volunteer-based project and our Board of Directors is a 100% donor board. DCO currently funds the organization through in-kind book donations which are sold on Amazon.com.

Dance Sponsors Needed for 2010 Disability Pride Celebration

The 2009 event - "EveryOne Can Dance" was celebrated in honor of disability pride month and the 19th Anniversary of the Americans with Disabilities Act. There were 200 participants that joined with AXIS Dance Company and DJ Reggie Daniels to dance the night away. Sponsors received Logo Recognition on Flyers and Posters, the DisabledCommunity.Org Website, and the Dance Program. We look forward to having you join us as a participant or sponsor for next year's celebration.

Resource Faire Sponsors Needed in Fall
